The Fuel Price Index levels in the weeks ending 29 September 2006 and 22 September 2006 have dropped to 342 and 336 respectively. According to the surcharge mechanism, when the index level goes below the 345 trigger point for two consecutive weeks, BAR CSC airlines will levy a fuel surcharge as follows:
