The Fuel Price Index levels in the weeks ending 21 April 2006 and 28 April 2006 have reached 399 and 400 respectively. According to the surcharge mechanism, when the index level exceeds the 390 trigger point for two consecutive weeks, BAR CSC airlines will levy a fuel surcharge as follows:
